What is Drip Drops?
Drip Drops sells sealed boxes of real luxury pieces - designer handbags, watches and jewelry. Every box publishes its price, its minimum fair market value and the full assortment inside before you buy. Nothing is hidden at checkout.
Who can buy?
Anyone 18 or older - or the age of majority in their state, if higher - in the United States. The Service is not available in Washington or Connecticut, and the app tells you if it is not available where you are. Pieces ship to US addresses only.
What is inside a box?
The full assortment is listed on every box before purchase. Every piece is real, and the box’s minimum fair market value is stated up front.
How is the piece I receive chosen?
At random, at the published probabilities. Every box lists its pieces in tiers with the item selection probability of each tier and the value band it covers, before you buy. The probabilities are fixed the moment the box is published and cannot be altered afterwards, and every opening is recorded so it can be recomputed against what was published.
How is fair market value set?
From the market, not by the house. A piece’s fair market value is what it sells for in the condition recorded for it - taken from the manufacturer’s and authorised retailers’ current pricing first, and from recent arm’s-length resale data for pieces no longer sold at retail. The figure is recorded with the date it was taken and refreshed as prices move. It is not an independent valuation, an authentication certificate or a promise of resale value.
How does shipping work?
Courier, dispatched within 30 days of your request, to US addresses only. $15 per shipment, plus 1% insurance on pieces of $500 or more, plus sales tax at your address - all shown before you confirm. Pieces of $500 or more ship insured and require a signature on delivery.
When do the doors open?
Soon. The list hears first - leave an email and the house writes when the first boxes are published, and after that only when there is something to say.
